THE CENTURIONS HELP RAISE $7,000 TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHILDREN

The Centurions continue to support a wide range of charitable organizations and projects in Southern Arizona.  Most recently, they supported The Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl in raising seven thousand dollars at their Roll for the Bowl fundraiser.   The Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide world-class experiences for college student-athletes, fans, and the local community. The Arizona Bowl strives to inspire youth, engage the community, support local charities, and create positive economic impact in Southern Arizona.

The Roll for the Bowl fundraiser was another great event for The Centurions to help organize and run. Special thanks go out to Dan Nentl, Arizona Bowl Executive Board Chairman and the Arizona Bowl team for spearheading a fun time at Lucky Strike Lanes. The money raised and presented to the Centurions will be vetted through our Charity Selection Committee and used to help “strengthen our kids” right here in Tucson. Supporting youth in southern Arizona is a shared goal of both The Arizona Bowl and the Centurions.

Joe Dhuey, Centurions of Southern Arizona Charitable Foundation board president said, “we are truly honored and feel privileged to be the recipient of the Arizona Bowl’s generosity”.

Some of the organizations in the community that The Centurions support include Tu Nidito, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and Tucson Medical Center. The Centurions will continue supporting a wide range of charitable organizations and projects in southern Arizona.
